Fashion dog collars are in!

Dog collars are used essentially to control a dog. Fortunately, modern dog collars are stylish and fashionable. They are available in a variety of fun colors like lime green, hot pink and black & white animal prints. Some collars have rounded rhinestone letters spelling out the name of the dog. These letters are detachable and can be used on any other collar. There are others that have stone studded letters engraved on them. Decorative collars that are thin with rubber foam-backed are available for smaller dogs.

There are also a number of jeweled dog collars which are not just for fashion but for some good reasons. One of these is the flea collars type of the jeweled collars which are saturated with chemicals that are able to repel the infestation of fleas. Nevertheless, some of these collars are just used by the owners of the dog as a supplementary to the buckle collar. Among the popular designs of the fashion collars at present are the stud collars which actually have protection significance. The stud collars are leather collars which are fitted with a number of dulled points or metal studs which traditionally were used to prevent the dog from being bitten by another animal on the neck.
